Excellent food! Unexpected & happily surprised. I'm always looking for better than average Thai food. The location & atmosphere are lacking so not a destination but I took it to go anyways. Sweet interaction with the owner. Will be back for sure!

Literally come here as often as possible. It's about a 35 minute drive for me and worth every single second of it. This is my husband and his work partners go to lunch spot & I definitely understand why. Made to order dishes that give home cooked fresh comfort goodness! Please be patient with service, it's typically one person taking care of table service & she's the best. Remember that it's made to order, may take a little bit to get your dish out. You won't regret it. It's not super fancy, super casual & has a warmth to it. It's inviting and comfortable with tv's & seating for small and large parties. Please try the pad kaprao! The lemongrass beef skewers are soooo good. You can never go wrong with the drunken noodles too! Oh... and the khaopoon! Clearly we have tried most things. Never been disappointed!

Finally got to try another lao/thai place in sac! All the dishes were pretty scrumptious, especially the beef sticks. The beef sticks were packed with so much flavor! I also really liked how the papaya platter came with pork rhines as I don't see that very often. I even brought my own shrimp chips to eat with the papaya just in case! The nam khao was good, but it could have used more veggies which would've been nice. Location is a bit sketchy so please be aware of that as well!

This place is underrated. I've been an avid customer since their grand opening. I absolutely love the authenticity of the menu and the staff here. It's always exciting to see what's on their rotating special menu. There's an endless amount of variety. Keep up on their IG too for announcements. I am rarely ordering the same thing here because it's all just so good. Located right off the freeway and the party trays are great options for your next get together!

Four of us for dinner on a hot July evening. And when we arrive the hand written sign seals our fate. The A/C is broken. The folks put two floor stand fans out in the dining room. At least the 92 degree air is swirling. But we're here for the food. And I'm primed by all the Yelpers who already know that the plates here are scrumptious. Truth! We shared: Spring rolls, papaya salad, crispy rice salad, drunken noodles, two orders of Laotian sausages. I really liked them all. No liquor here. We brought our own 2 bottles of wine. No corkage. Bring your own corkscrew they ain't got one. And if you don't want to drink from a plastic cup bring your own wine glasses. This ain't fancy food. It's fresh, it's vibrant, it's spicy. There's plenty of it. Dining room is humble, down home family place on a low budget. Servers don't seem to quite trust Anglos (they probably get too many whiny, clueless complainers). But since our group is a widely traveled, we eat everything (the more adventurous the better), speak more than 8 languages between us, our server loosened up when we started to order our food with confidence and big smiles. Here's the real attraction for me: big dinner that's delicious, lots of varied flavors, generous portions for the cost of about $21 per person. 5 stars! I plan to return often even though I live 25 minutes away.
